SD-transport module

Digital audio source (44.1/16) plays up to 99 CDs and up to 99 tracks / CD stored on SD(HC) memory cards using wav format. Device is slaved by external 11.2896 MHz clock, and outputs Philips I2S (32 bits/frame). It is intended for solid-state high performance digital audio playback maintaining lowest interference and jitter levels. Large white (14mm) 7 segments LED displays for excellent readability and allows for the use of color filters. On-board high quality keys for disc selection, stop, play/pause and track selection. CD and / or track random play modes are selectable.

Device runs on single 5V power supply. This device could be an ideal replacement for audiophile CD transports like the cdpro 2. Device is completely silent and uses no moving parts that are subjective to wear.

Free application (Apple, Linux, Windows) available for converting and writing iTunes / Rhythmbox play lists as wav (44.1/16) using correct directory and file names on SD(HC) cards. SDHC card of 32Gb can typically hold approx. 52 CDs in wav format.

SD-transport module is available in both, Epoxy PCB and high performance HF PCB versions.
